At least one hundred female orphans who lost their parents to banditry attacks in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger state are to be given out in marriage by the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly Barrister, Abdulmalik Sarkindaji.

The Speaker who stated this while exchanging views with Newsmen in Minna, said that they were carefully selected out of the one hundred and seventy earlier gathered to ensure that only genuine once amongst them benefit from the gesture.

Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkindaji explained that Niger state Governor Mohammed Umar Bago and the Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora Alh Mohammed Barau would served as their guardian that wil give them out in marriage.

According to him the Kano state Commander  General Hisbah Board Sheikh Aminu Daurawa, is expected to attend the event slated for the twenty fourth of this month at Bangi, the headquarters of Mariga Local Government Area and undertake a specific function.

Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkindaji said already he has procured all the necessary materials needed for proper marriage, to the one hundred female orphans for their comport at home like any other children of the well to do persons.

Similarly he said he will also pay the dowries for the bridegroom to make the marriage more seamless, results oriented and devoid of hitches.

On why he decided to embark of this gesture, the Speaker Niger state House of Assembly maintained that it was done with the best of intentions and as a way of bringing back to the society to ammeliorte the sufferings of the poor

Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkindaji would also wants the well to do persons in the society to always assist the poor especially in this trying moment to attract the blessings of Allah.
