Northern Senators Forum Extends Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings to Muslims

Northern Senators Forum has extended its heartfelt greetings to Muslim brothers and sisters at home and across the globe as we mark the end of Ramadan and prepare to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.

This is contain in a statement by the chairman of the Forum senator Abdulaziz Musa ‘Yaradu’a.

Yaradua prayed that Allah (SWT) accepts our acts of worship and continues to safeguard our beloved country, Nigeria.

“Let us persist in our endeavors to foster a peaceful and cohesive society that cherishes the principles of liberty, human dignity, and prosperity for all” he said.

Abdulaziz Yaradua emphasized that it is our collective duty to pray for the well-being of our esteemed President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and the entire leadership of the nation at all levels, as we work towards improving our national prosperity and raising the quality of life for all Nigerians.

In the statement, ‘Yaradua extends warm congratulations to His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), and Muslim organizations and our Muslim brethren for observing a month of Ramadan dedicated to peace and spirituality, culminating in the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

He urged Nigerians to embrace the virtues learnt during this period of Ramadan and emulate the spirit of brotherhood, extend individual and communal support, contribute to nation-building,

Also advised Muslim Umma and Nigerians to offer prayers for the well-being of our country and its leadership, abide by the laws of the land, and uphold exemplary conduct and good values of Ramadan.

” let us be reminded of our collective obligation to combat injustice, immorality, unfairness, corruption, and inequality. Let us champion justice, patriotism, and dignity in all our pursuits. Remember, no situation lasts forever, and by fulfilling our respective roles effectively, we can propel our nation towards a brighter future.”
