The Zamfara state government has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of works at Government Girls Day Secondary School Zurmi and ordered the contractor to stop the work immediately.

The order was given by Chairman monitoring committee for the implementation of Government projects who is also the state commissioner for projects implementation and monitoring Nasiru Ibrahim Zurmi.

He said that, the Committee has embark on state wide inspection visit to all the projects awarded by the present Administration in the state adding that, the project at Government Girls Day Secondary school Zurmi does not have the needed standard.

Nasiru Zurmi also expressed concern over poor performance of the contractor handling the total Rehabilitation and renovation of the school and warned that this Administration will not condoned shady job awarded to contractors or not compliance with contractual agreement .

Similarly, the Committee Chairman also expressed reservation with the quality of work at Government Science Secondary School Shinkafi and he directed the contractor to meet up with specification contained in the contractual agreement or risk the revocation of the contract.

He also expressed satisfaction with the quality of works at the ongoing renovation of Government Secondary School Birnin Magaji as well as all the ongoing projects in Kaura-Namoda which to include General Hospital Kaura -Namoda.

Others are Tsangaya islamic School, vocational Training School as well as Women mult-purpose skills and Acquisition Centre Kaura -Namoda and he commended the commitment of the contractors handling the projects.
