President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed into law a bill establishing a student loan program.

The President expressed gratitude to the National Assembly for their swift handling of the legislation, highlighting education as a crucial tool in the fight against poverty.

During the signing ceremony, which took place at the State House Abuja, President Tinubu reiterated his administration’s dedication to prioritizing education, including the implementation of skills development programs.

Emphasizing inclusivity, he pledged to ensure that all Nigerian citizens, regardless of their socio-economic background, have access to quality education and the chance to shape their futures.

President Tinubu acknowledged the challenges faced by many Nigerian students in accessing higher education and stressed the importance of removing barriers.

With the new student loan program in place, he affirmed that opportunities for pursuing education will be more accessible and equitable.
