President Bola Ahmed Tinibu has expressed deep appreciation at the exemplary, honesty and Godly attitude demonstrated by a Zamfara female pilgrim who returned the lost money to owner in Mecca.
The Chairman Zamfara State 2023 Hajj Cmmittee, Alhaji Musa Mallaha disclosed this while briefing newsmen on records of his committee’s achievements for this year’s Hajj exercise.
Musa Mallaha explained that,
Hajiya Aishatu Nahuche, returned the sum of eighty thousand dollars, equivalent to about sixty million naira while performing this year’s pilgrimage in Mecca.
He said when the news about the incidence came out, the president became highly elated so much that he directed the National Hajj Commission to organize an NTA interview with the lady for record keeping.
According to him, the commission is still making arrangement in which the Zamfara state governor be part of the ceremony when the lady will be publicly honored by the state first lady.
The chairman who expressed happiness at the level of honesty exhibited by gentle woman, stressed that her good behavior was not only a pride to Zamfara and Nigeria as a Nation, but by extension, a pride to the entire Muslim world.
