Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Bunu Presenting Cheque to one of the decease families

The Acting Inspector General of Police-IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has presented cheques of seven million, one hundred thousand naira to 14 families of the officers who died in active service.

The Command’s Public Relation Officer, ASP Yazeed Abubalar disclosed this to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital.

The cheques issued were part of the Group Personal Accident and IGP family welfare insurance schemes of the Force.

Represented by the Commissioner of Police Zamfara State command, CP Mohammed Bunu, appreciated the Acting IGP for his kind gesture and also appealed to the families of the deceased officers to use the money judiciously.

Two of the beneficiaries, Ms Mosunmola Apata and Mr Ayuba Bassi in their remarks thanked the Acting Inspector general of Police and the state police Command for the support and also assured of judicious use of the money.
