Kwara State Police Command has banned motorcycles and tricycles operations at night in the state.
The State Commisssioner of Police ,Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi stated this during a meeting with leaders of commercial Motorcycles and Tricycles operators in Ilorin.
She reminded the unions of the existential law promulgated by the state government banning their operations between the hours of 9:pm and 6am .
Mrs Adelesi advised the union leaders to warn their members,adding that the Command will commence the enforcement of the laws and prosecute any member caught violating them.
The Commissioner of Police also warns criminal elements in the state to change their evil ways or risk grave consequences.
She advised law-abiding citizens to go about their lawful businesses without any fear of intimidation, either from criminals or law enforcement agencies.
