Banditry : CAS Tasks Troops To Sustain Onslaught

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar has charged troops to sustain the good fight against bandits in the North-West in the collective effort to ensure peace and security of Nigeria.

In a statement by spokesperson of the force, Air Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa says the Air Chief gave the charge in Katsina at a luncheon with troops in the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir festival.

The CAS implored the troops to sustain the fighting tempo to ensure the highest level of vigilance and combat readiness is maintained to guarantee improved security.

While appreciating the troops and their families for their sacrifices and devotion to Nigeria, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar assured of commitment to providing the air component with the necessary logistics and welfare to support the operation.

The troops were joined in the luncheon by Deputy Governor of Katsina State-Faruk Lawal Jobe who appreciated troops for their efforts towards combating banditry in the State.
