As Eid El-kabir approaches, Muslims are expected to redouble their efforts in worshiping the Almighty Allah.

The former Commissioner for religious affairs Zamfara state, Dr Muhammad Tukur Sani Jangebe disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Gusau the state capital.

The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are the most virtuous days of the year, in which Allah (swt) has blessed his Ummah with opportunities to multiply their rewards through His infinite mercy.

Therefore, there is need to increase our acts of worship during this sacred time, he said

Dr Tukur Sani Jangebe explained that there
are nine Sunnah actions muslims should follow to seek Allah’s forgiveness and maximise their reward during the best ten days of the year:

They are : Dhikr, Praying Tahajjud, Reciting Qur’an, Giving Sadaqah ( charity), Asking for Forgiveness, among others.

Dr jangebe said Muslims are expected to give out sadaqah, assist the poor and less privileged in the society to enable them celebrate their sallah smoothly.

He also called on muslim ummah to use the opportunity to pray for peace to prevail in Zamfara and the country at large.
