Zamfara State Police Command has paraded 21 suspects including bandit, cattle rustlers, political thugs and phone snatcher.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Command SP Mohammed Shehu who paraded the suspects said all the arrested suspects have confessed to the crimes.
He explained that, 17 of them were arrested by police detectives in connection with the post election violence after the announcement of the governorship election result in the state while other 2 suspects were apprehended with rustled animals, 1 suspect for phone snatching and a notorious bandit who have been terrorizing innocent citizens in Gusau local government area and environs.
SP Shehu noted that police operatives have recovered exhibits from the political thugs which included set of cushion chairs, refrigerators, generators, building materials, burglary windows among others.
The PPRO added that the suspects will be charged to court for prosecution after police investigation.
