INEC Presents Certificate Of Return To Governor Elect Mutfwang

Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Plateau state, has presented Certificate of Return to Governor elect Caleb Mutfwang.

The Certificate was presented by the National Commissioner INEC covering Plateau, Nassarawa, and Benue States Mohammed Kudu Haruna having certified winner of the March eighteenth twenty twenty three gubernatorial election.

The Deputy Governor elect and twenty four members of the state house of Assembly-elect were also presented with their Certificates.

To the amazement of supporters and excited by the Moment, governor elect Caleb Mutfwang was flanked by his wife Helen after receiving the Certificate of Return from the National Commissioner Mohammed Kudu promised to justify the mandate given to him by the people.

He appealed to his co-contestants to work together with him for the interest of Plateau first and face governance for the interest of the people.

The 24 members elect also received their certificate presented by the Resident Electoral Commissioner INEC Plateau State Dr Oliver Agundu

National Commissioner INEC Mohammed Kudu Haruna admonished the newly elected to uphold their mandate in trust for the people as INEC has done everything constitutional contained in the Electoral process.

Resident Electoral Commissioner INEC Plateau State Dr Oliver Agundu said the commission had delivered on their promise and thereby handing over the baton of accountability and responsibility to winners for a transparent electoral process.

Among the elected members 16 are from the People’s Democratic Party PDP, 7 from the All Progressives Congress APC and one from the Young Progressive Party, YPP the only one from the party in northern Nigeria amongs them are two females.
