A youth group under the auspicies of APC National Integrity Movement has endorsed the candidature of Senator Sani Musa three one three a member representing Niger East Senatorial District from Niger state for the Senate President of the tenth National Assembly.
Niger state wing Coordinator of the movement Comrade Abdulkarim Salisu Muye made the endorsement at a Press briefing in Minna.
Comrade Abdulkarim Salisu said this could only be achieved if the All Progressives Congress APC at the National level zoned the Senate President position to North Central particularly to Niger statecwhere the Senator came from.
He however maintained that North Central especially Niger state has been marginalised interms of Senate President and Speaker House of Representatives positions despite their enormous contribution to the growth and development of the region and Nigeria since the return of democracy.
According to him Niger state has been providing the All Progresssives Congress APC with highest number of votes from states in the North Central and wondered why they should not be compensated.
Comrade Abdulkarim Salisu said Senator Sani Musa as Chairman Senate Service Committee with proven track recoed of experience exposure vision and mission as well as a performing Senator deserved the position of Senate President for the tenth National Assembly inview of maturity and pedigree.
In his remarks former Aspirant APC National Chairman Comrade Mohammed Etsu thanked the people of Niger East for presenting the best candidate which he said has given them the platform to canvass for the exalted position for him as true representative of his people and by extension the Nigerlites.
