Borno state Governor Babagana Zulum has commended INEC for the improvement in the voting and electoral process.

The Governor made the commendation in an interview with newsmen shortly after casting his vote at Ajari 1, 006 in Mafa Local government area.

The Governor who is 105th to be accredited in his polling unit, cast his vote at 10:35 in the morning.

Zulum observed that distribution of materials,  accreditation and voting commenced early compared to that of Presidential and national assembly elections.

“The process is commendable as I have spend less than five minutes to be accredited, this was not the case in the three weeks ” Zulum said.

The Governor described the turn out as impressive, calling on voters to be patient and orderly while exercising their franchise.
