Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has charged kano residents to continue exercising their civic responsibilities peacefully to move the state forward.

Dr. Ganduje made the call shortly after voting at cikin gari ward, Ganduje town, Dawakin Tofa local government area.

The governor commended the orderly conduct of the governorship and state assembly elections.

He stressed that, arrival of voting materials was timely, as well as large turn out of voters.

Dr. Ganduje said the election was going on without eventualities, due to the presence of security agencies.
