The Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli has tasked the Kaduna citizens on mutual respect and desist from taking laws into their hands.

He made the remarks after casting his votes at the palace in Zaria adding that citizens should be tolerant, patience and law abiding.

The Emir who casted his vote at about 9.25am said whosoever takes laws into his hand would not go free.

He added that those that are instigating others to fight were not telling themselves the truth.

However, the royal father described the elections as peaceful and seamless throughout the emirate.

Bamalli implored candidates who eventually emerge winners to carry everybody along devoid of political and ethno -religious sentiments.
