Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr. Zahra’u Muhammad Umar

Kano state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr. Zahra’u Muhammad Umar has described the appointment of Hajiya Sa’adatu Sa’id Bala as Permanent Secretary as timely and well deserved.

According to her, Hajiya Sa’adatu is a seasoned administrator that has dedicated herself to the services of the state civil service.

Dr Zahra’u Muhammad Umar pointed out that, the Permanent Secretary is a friendly person due to the caliber of people that accompanied her from different ministries, departments and parastatals, family and well wishes.

Speaking while handing over the affairs of the ministry, the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Hajiya Amina Aminu Kano represented by Director Admin and General Services, Hajiya Mariya Hodi, expressed gratitude to the staff and Commissioner for their support.

In her remarks, the incoming Permanent Secretary, Dr Sa’adatu Sa’id Bala appreciated the warm reception and promised to work hand in hand with the management and staff of the ministry.

She urged them, to give her the maximum cooperation needed, to move Kano state Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development forward.
