President of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria Mr Francis Orbih is to commission the multi million naira badminton indoor hall complex in Niger state before the end of this month. 

Chairman , Niger state Badminton Association and member Minna Sport Club Alhaji Muhammad Nma Kolo stated this while inspecting the level of work at the David Mark Road Badminton Complex. Minna.

Alhaji Muhammad Nma Kolo said the two thousand and seven hundred indoor badminton sitting capacity constructed through direct labour by members of Minna Sports Complex has reached about ninety percent completion level.

He further called for collective efforts between government and non governmental organisation in the development of sports because according to him , government alone cannot do it.

This according him would also helped to address the problem of youth restiveness in Niger state and Nigeria.

Alhaji Muhammad Nma Kolo further explained that the Minna Badminton indoor hall complex which has already gulped over seventy million naira, comprises of seven toilets , changing rooms and squash among others.

He commended Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger for his untiring support in ensuring success of the project .
