Law Enforcement Agencies Inspects Election Progress in Kaduna

The Commissioner of Police on Election duty deployed to Kaduna State Sunday Babaji along with other law enforcement agencies have embarked on inspection tour of the election processes where the commissioner assured voters of maximum security from beginning to end of the process.

In a statement signed by the State Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Jalige after the tour, the commossioner charged electorates to come out enmass without fear of intimidation to exercise their franchise by voting candidates of their choice..

Mr. Sunday Babaji warned anyone with intention to cause trouble, to be mindful of the fact that the long arms of the law would catch up with them.

The statement says the commissioner was accompanied by heads of Department of State Security Service, Nigerian Immigration, Nigerian Customs, National Security and Civil Defence Corps, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Fire Service, among others.

Meanwhile reports from our Coreespondent who monitored the exercise in Gaji ward of Kaduna North Local Government area indicates that there was an initial mixed up of the INEC results booklet at the ward whereby the customized booklet for particular polling units were taken to different polling units.

The mixed up was later identified and resolved by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the area.
