Kebbi Deputy Governor Debunks Rumour Of Defection To PDP

The Kebbi state Deputy Governor, Rtd. Col. Samaila Yombe Dabai, has debunked the rumour of his defection from the ruling APC to the opposition party PDP.

Speaking to Radio Nigeria in Kebbi State, Rtd. Col. Yombe Dabai, described the APC Presidential rally in the state as clear indication that distanced himself from the mischief for attaching his pictures as aspirant in the opposition party on social media.

He stated that, attaching his pictures as Deputy Governorship aspirant under the opposition PDP would not make sense by the mischievers and therefore cautioned them not to allow themselves to be used against any person for selfish reasons.

Col. Yombe, maintained that APC was his first political journey and remained resolute to it’s victory even after leaving office come May 29th. 2023.

The Deputy Governor, who described the APC presidential rally held in the State as a clear roadmap to victory of the party at the forth coming general elections, expressed satisfaction with the the turnout of the party’s supporters across the State.

He however called on all eligible voters to collect their voter card as that remains the only tool for success of the party in the forth coming general elections.

Dabai stated that, if Bola Tinubu is voted into power, kebbi State would have the opportunity of improving on its economy through tourism activities such as the Argungu fishing festival, Rigata fishing festival, Zuru Uhola cultural festival.
