Kaduna Farmers Get $2M Assistance – Maigari

Director General of Agribusiness Group in Nigeria Dr. Manzo Maigari says a value chain intervention in ginger production has created over five hundred thousand job opportunities to women and youths in Kaduna State.

Dr. Manzo Maigari who stated this at a media parley with Southern Kaduna Journalists emphasized that the value chain intervention also attracted over two million dollars assistance to peasant farmers within the last two years.

The Director General who is a former Commissioner for Agriculture in Kaduna State, explained that the amount was utilized for the purpose of assisting the farmers, establishment of rural roads, drainages and many other provision to ease farming activities.

While speaking on some political developments, Dr. Manzo Maigari said the All Progressives Party had established a solid foundation both at Federal and Kaduna State in particular that will make the party sustain and retain power for several years.

He commended the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senator Uba Sani for his ability to get a Federal Medical Center, attract a project to a tune of over 4 billion naira to built a brand new faculty of Engineering at the Kaduna State University, upgrade all the Primary Health Centres in all in his constituencies and several other achievements within a span of about four years.

According to him, Senator Uba Sani remains the best governorship candidate following his track records at the National Assembly.
