A Coalition of Civil Society Group has warned against voting leaders that have no foresight and track records of moving Nigeria to the promised land.

Coordinator of the group Dr. Abdullahi Abubakar who made the call at a newsbriefing in Kaduna also appealed for continuity in governance to enhance rapid growth and development especially in Kaduna State.

said Since Nigeria returned to democracy, some states were fortunate wirh just three or four Governors who laid solid foundations and their successors have Continued to built on it and Kaduna should not be an exception.

He expressed satisfaction with the achievements of Kaduna State government for the past 7 years which has seen the state being transformed into modern city with standard facilities put in place in various sectors of the state.

“Of cause, there is competing needs in the face of scarce resources, but there is no gainsaying that the incumbent Government has raised the bar of governance in the state”

Dr. Abdullahi Abubakar Argued that among the contestants for the governorship position in Kaduna State the APC candidate, Senator Uba Sani have proven that he can deliver the much needed transformation considering his wealth of experience since the coming of the present Democratic dispensation in 1999. 

The Coordinator maintained that in view of the track records of Senator Uba Sani who has worked in different capacities both at Federal and state level, the Coalition therefore endorsed him to sustain the good works in Kaduna State, unite the people for growth, and development.
