Kwara state Police Command has arrested a suspected Cultist, Sefiu Abolaji aka Ojulari, recovered two locally made guns and cartridges.
In a statement, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi said the suspect was arrested during an APC political rally at Ojuekun Sarumi area of Ilorin.
According to the statement, the suspect is overpowered by public-spirited persons and policemen with two locally made short-guns with cartridges and some charms found in his possession.
The statement explains that investigation is ongoing to establish his motive and to arrest other members of his cult group.
The statement maintains that the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigations into the matter is concluded.
