He said, the project was operating in seven states that include, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna, Kano, Borno, Plateau and Ekiti.

The Coordinator said that, the aim of the programme was to bring adolescent girls that were out of school, back to school so that they can complete their Secondary Education and obtain a school certificate.

According to him, the programme has recorded successes from its inception in April 2022 to date by assisting those that left school with a scholarship award of five thousand naira per term.

Abubakar stated that, the programme had reached out almost all secondary schools in the state in terms of school renovation, provision of toilets, portable drinking water and skills acquisition.

He lamented about the security challenge in the southern part of the state as the biggest challenge being faced by the programme.
