Today is Armed Forces Remembrance Day, an annual event to commemorate the nation’s servicemen and fallen heroes, President Muhammadu Buhari has attended the Twenty Twenty three Armed Forces Remembrance day that took place at the National Arcade, Abuja.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmed Lawal Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and other top dignitaries also graced the occasion.

President Muhammadu Buhari first Laid the wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier followed by Vice President , Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Justice of the Federation, Minister of the FCT and that of Defence.

Others were the service chiefs and Inspector General of Police, the Doying of the diplomatic Corp, the chairman of the Nigerian Legion, and the representative of the widows of the Fallen Heroes.

Muslim and Christians Prayers were also offered for the Fallen heroes, their Families and the Nation.

Afterwards, President Buhari signed the Armed Forces Twenty twenty-three register, he then release white pigeons which signify Peace.
