Nigerians have been advised to compliment the efforts of governments at all level in the development of education and  provision of social amenities to less privilege persons in the society.

Chairman Board Of Trustees of the National Association of Katsina Daura People, Niger state chapter Alh Suleiman Yahaya Babangida gave the advice at the occasion for the celebration of forty five years anniversary of the Association in Minna.

Alh Yahaya Babangida maintained that government alone cannot do it therefore required collective efforts and support by all and sundry to succeed.

According to him the Association also solicited for the support of its members and well to do individuals in society to enable it acquire a land for the construction of a school and permanent site for it’s members in Minna Niger state.

Alh Yahaya Babangida explained that the school when completed would be used to train widows on various trade as well as give special recognition on providing direct admission to orphans from any state residing in Niger state to enable them acquire western education with relative ease.

In his remarks Chairman of the Association Alh Musa Baba Bature said that the meeting also coincided with the celebration of thirty six anniversary of Katsina state in addition to encouraging peaceful coexistence and brotherhood amongst it’s members in Niger state and their host community. 

Also speaking the Chairman Niger state chapter of Abdullahi Gwandu Association Alh Hassan Shiroro who described as appropriate however commended them for making serious efforts to construct a school for the downtrodden and assured them of his support and that of his members at all times to succeed.

Vice Chairman National Association of Katsina Daura People Niger state chapter Alh Umar Ruma said the association which was established forty five years ago in Minna had impacted positively to the lives of its members stressing that prayers for peaceful conduct of this years general election and that of electing credible leaders were offered.

Prominent founding members of the Association including those that died have been awarded for their sacrifice.
