Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced the distribution of permanent voter cards at ward levels in all parts of the federation.

The Public Relations Officer of the Commission in Kano Ahmad Maulud who disclosed this to Newsmen said the collection of the permanent voters cards has commenced will be ongoing for ten days.

He said INEC had already mapped out strategies for ensuring that the collection of the PVCs achieved success.

Maulud noted that list of names for each ward has been made available to ensure that every eligible voter registered receives his PVC.

Radio Nigeria visited some of the wards in the metropolis and spoke to Sadiq Sani from Nagge Ward and Mujahid Ibrahim from Dorayi ward who both received their PVCs and applauded the efforts of INEC for taking the distribution of PVCs to ward levels.

At most of the ward visited, officials of the INEC arrived early, while people queued orderly to collect their PVCs.
