2023 Elections: Kano PDP Inaugurates Campaign Council

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano, has inaugurated it’s campaign council, management team and leadership of zonal caretaker committees to spearhead the campaign activities of the party in the state.

The National Chairman, PDP, Mr. Iyorchia Ayu represented by the National Vice Chairman, North West, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo officially inaugurated the executives Chairmen, Deputy and secretary from each zone in the state.

He said, they were carefully selected due to their immense contributions and unreserved loyalty to the progress of the party.

Mr. Ayu charged them to maintain the tempo, in discharging their responsibilities towards achieving the desired goal of winning the 2023 elections.

“By the powers conferred on me by the constitution of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), I hereby inaugurated this campaign council”.

The inaugurated members of the state campaign council, is led by Kano state former governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, PDP senatorial, house of representatives, and state house of assembly candidates among others.

While the campaign management committee, is led by Director General, Atiku/Okowa campaign, Dr Yunusa Adamu Dangwani, to be deputized by Al’amin Ibrahim little and Umar Mustapha Mai Mansaleta as secretary.

Speaking at the event, former Kano state governor, Ibrahim Shekarau, said, the leadership structure is in synergy with the national campaign council down to the grassroots level.

“This council, you are our ambassadors, our eyes and ears, you will oversee our activities in your various locations, you are the ones to represent us down to the polling stations. This council is the same and goes in line with the council leadership from the national level.”

The inauguration was attended by former Kano state deputy governor, Professor Hafiz Abubakar, former speaker house of representatives, Ghali Umar Na’abba, the state caretaker committee chairman, Alhaji Mai Adamu Mustapha among other prominent stakeholders in the party.
