NNPP Guber Candidate Promises Free, Compulsory Education if Elected in Nasarawa


The Governortorial Candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP in Nasarawa State Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya, has promised to offer free and compulsory education if he elected as Governor in twenty twenty three general election.

He made this known while inaugurating his Campaign ciuncil in Keffi Local Government Area.

The NNPP Governorship candidate said the decision was to build the capacity of the youths aimed at reducing the restiveness and idleness.

He maintained that no state can develop beyond the level of its education, as such it would be made free and compulsory to ensure that people have no reason not to go to school.

Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya also promised give priority to security in all the parts of the state in order to tackle insecurity which includes banditry, kidnapping, farmers herders clashes that is currently rampart.

He further explained, that Nasarawa State is an agrarian state, therefore, his government would secure communities to enable farmers to go their farms without the fear of being attack’.

On his part, Rabi’u Musa- Kwankwanso, Presidential Candidate of the Party Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso said NNPP would offer free and compulsory education from Primary to Secondary school levels.

He said that the government under him would pay registration for West African Examination Council -WAEC, National Examination Council NECO and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination JAMB to all students in the country.

Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso explained that, as soon as he is elected he will recruit One million military, Police, Civil Defence and security to address the current situation the country found it self.

Also speaking, The Director General of the Governorship Campaign Barrister Innocent Lagi, said they would do things differently if the party is elected next year..

Barrister Innocent Lagi added that NNPP knows that power is a trust from the people and the party intend to keep the trust.
