NSCDC Arrest 3 For PMS Diversion In Kwara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kwara state command has arrested three suspects for allegedly diverting 33,000 litres of petrol meant for Lagos state.

The suspects, are Buhari Joda, 37 with two of his motor boys, Aminu Joda, 32, and Ahmed Aminu, 20,

Parading the suspects, the state commandant of NSCDC , Muhammed Ibrahim, said that the suspects were arrested by the anti-vandal team on a routine patrol in Ilorin.

Accoding to him, the suspects were arrested around Oladimeji filling station in Ilorin loaded with 33,000 litres of PMS meant for Ikorodu community in Lagos.

He said the suspects had already discharged 22,000 litres at Oladimeji and 11,000 litres at another filling station at Oko Olowo.

Commandant Ibrahim said the filling station where the suspects were arrested has been sealed , and the tanker taken into custody.

He said all the suspects will be prosecuted as soon as investigation are concluded.
