Federal Government says it has completed about fifty internal road networks in federal hospital and tertiary institutions across the country.
Minister of Works and Housing Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola stated this at the official handing over of a 1.5 Kilometer road network at the Federal Neuro- Psychiatric Hospital Kware in Sokoto state.
The Minister who was represented by the Federal Controller of works, Mr. Mai Gwandu Kasim said another eighteen completed internal road networks were ready for handing over, while nineteen are under construction in various institutions across the country.
Fashola maintained that one of the present administration’s priority was the completion of the ongoing Housing Projects that has been captured in the 2022 budget.
He added that the ministry haa completed and commissioned three hundred and eight housing units in Kaduna , Kogi , Sokoto and Osun states.
In a remark, Minister of state for Health, Mr. Ekumankuma Joseph commended the FG for its intervention in hospitals across the country , stressing that the present administration would leave a footprints in areas of infrastructural development in the country.
Represented by Mr. Casmir Igwe of the Health Ministry, Mr. Ekumankuma appealed for more intervention in the health sector for effective service delivery.
The commissioning was witnessed by prominent dignitaries and stakeholders in the state.
