The Senate leadership has advised presidential candidates to desist from back clashing each other rather dedicated themselves on.peiole oriented programmes that promote the socio economic well-being of the country and it’s citizens.

Senator representing Abia North and chief whip of the Senate Mr Orji Uzo kalu made the appeal while receiving an overall best constituency project and human relations award in Abuja by the Senate Press Corp.

Orji uzo kalu believed that it was only through people oriented programmes that candidates would win the heart of the electorates not rhetoric.

He said the Electorate were more educated and what they need was who would come up with programmes that touches the people minds and can boost the economy so that the socio economic status of the country would be change to present day realities

Orji Uzo Kalu reminded Nigerians especially his constituents that he would continue to raise the economic base of the people.

He assured having more programmes for the benefit of the people of the area, saying his attitude toward this has closed the gap for some one to be able to access the people’s vote in Abia North, assuring 98 percent of their votes this time around thereby making him to remain firm in political aspirations

The chief whip similarly urged the electorates to ensure they vote people that have genuine programmes for societal development rather than making mare rhetoric on issues that would not be beneficial to their socio economic endeavors.
