A veteran Journalist Mallam Sani Malumfanshi has called on the Nigeria Police to thoroughly investigate the alleged killing of his Son, Assistant Superintendent of Police Shuaibu Sani Malumfanshi last week Wednesday.

Mallam Sani Malumfanshi who stormed the Kaduna State Secretariat Of the Nigeria Union of Journalists alleged plans to cover up the case and the number of people involved in the alleged killing.

He expressed concerned that more than a week after the incident, the Police was yet to make any arrest and commenced investigation on the issue , which he claimed from all indication involved more than one person.

Mallam Sani Malumfanshi explained that when his murdered son’s corpse was brought from Birnin Kebbi where he was serving to Kaduna for burial, they noticed deep cuts in the region of his heart while his neck was hanging when turned from all sides.

He explained that the fact that his son was wearing white clothing but blood did not stained beyond the area where he was stabbed clearly proved that the late ASP was held firmly by some other accomplises.

He submitted that his son was overpowered to prevent him from struggling and his neck triangulated , causing the breakages of the bones.

According to the veteran journalist, he will will remain relentless in seeking justice over the murder, but to prevent future occurrences.

Mallam Malumfanshi appealed to the Federal Government, Police Service commission, and the National Assembly to intervene in the case and save citizens from going through such painful experiences.

ASP Shuaibu Sani Malumfanshi was reported to have been stabbed to death last week Wednesday by another ASP Abdullahi Garba, who later submitted himself for investigation.
