School Supervisors and Head Teachers in Dambatta Local Education Authority, have been advised to redouble their efforts in discharging their responsibilities, to ensure effective service delivery in the educational sector.
The Education Secretary Dambatta local government area, Malam Sunusi Tijjani Buhari made the call during a meeting with School Supervisors and Head Teachers, held at Dambatta local government education authority.
He stressed that, the essence of the meeting was to re-strategized and find lasting solution to problems bedevilling education in Dambatta.
The education secretary, described education as the backbone of any meaningful society, as such there was the urgent need to map out policies and programs aimed at uplifting the standards of education.
Malam Sunusi appealed to philanthropists and wealthy individuals, to contribute their quota to the educational development of the local government.
He expressed gratitude to the school supervisors and the head teachers, for their punctuality which would go along way in promoting and maintaining conducive teaching and learning atmosphere.
While commending the education secretary for his dedication and commitment, head of Personnel Management Unit, Dambatta local government education authority, Malam Hafizu Ado described the meeting as apt.
The meeting was attended by Head of Units, School Supervisors,Head Teachers, NUT officials among others.
