Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC says it will provide security at NYSC lodges across various local government areas of the state.
The State Commandant, Alhaji Musa Mala disclosed this when he received the state Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps NYSC, Hajiya Aishatu Adamu and her management team in his office.
He explained that, the Command will direct divisional officers to provide security at NYSC lodges.
Musa Mala thanked the NYSC leadership for the visit to the NSCDC command.
The Commandant assured his readiness to provide personnel to secure the NYSC camp to ensure the safety of the corps members and the NYSC personnel.
Earlier, the NYSC state coordinator, Hajiya Aishatu Adamu said the aim of the visit is to strengthen the existing cordial working relationship between the two organizations.
She said the visit is also to discuss security issues related to corps members both at the camp and in their various places of primary assignments.
