Ginger Farmers Association Calls On Members To Harness Commodity Potential

National President of the Ginger Farmers Association of Nigeria, Squadron leader Nuhu B Daudu Rtd, has called on its members to harness the potential inherent in the production of the commodity.

The call was made during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ginger Association of Nigeria and Traders of Africa (TOFA) in Kaduna on Wednesday.

Nuhu B Daudu explained that the partnership would ensure the take-off of Ginger and give it a boost in the international market, encourage Ginger production, create an impact on producers and subsequently boost the Nation’s Economy.

Earlier in her remark, the founder of Traders of Africa (TOFA), Mrs. Uju Uzo Ojinaka said, TOFA is a pan African Hub in facilitating trade within Africa through technology partnerships that would ensure a better market for Ginger in Nigeria, across Africa, and indeed around the Globe.

Also speaking, the State Chairman of the Ginger Farmers Association of Nigeria Reverend Joseph Danboyi described the partnership as timely and reiterated the need for unity among members to enable growth and development.

The highlight of the event was the Presentation of Awards to Stakeholders.
