The protesting students of Kwara state College of Education Ilorin,-by-ALI MUHAMMAD RABIU

Management of the Kwara state College of Education, Ilorin has announced indefinite closure of the school following violent protest by students.

The Acting Provost of the College, Dr. Ayinla Jimoh, made the disclosure while speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.

He said the decision was taken to prevent further breakdown of law and order in the college.

Radio Nigeria gathered that hundreds of students of the institution protested against plans by the authorities to disallow some students who were yet to pay their school fees from participating in the semester examination.

The examinations were scheduled to commence on Wednesday.
