Over thirty three thousand three hundred  children between nine to fifty nine months are expected to be immunized against measles in Gwiwa local government area of Jigawa state.

The local government Immunization officer, Zayyana Muktar made this known at the task force committee meeting in Gwiwa local government area. No

According to him, children between the ages of 11 years would receive CSM vaccine, while  6 to 59 months to receive vitamin A.

Zayyana Mukhtar said 18 years and above are to be immunized against Covid 19 vaccines.

He assured of the council’s readiness to ensure the success of the exercise.

In his speech, the council chairman, Sale Ahmed Zauma said the local government would continue to improve health care services and called on people to support the exercise.
