Following the suspension of strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU, the Director Public affairs of the University said the University will resume academic activities from the 24th of October

The statement by Deputy Registrar public affairs Lamara Garba Azare said the resumption was agreed after meeting by the University on 13th of October

Radio Nigeria recalled that the Academic Staff Union of Universities had been on strike for the past eight months.
