Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has Charged Nigerians to be Vanguards of Peace and Harmony.

The Governor Stated this while addressing the people of the state during the Nigeria 62 independence Anniversary celebrations which took place at Sani Abacha Stadium Kano.

He urged Nigerians to live as brothers and sisters irrespective of religious beliefs or ethnic differences.

Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje noted that his administration had recorded a lot of successes in terms of providing befitting infrastructure, youth empowerment, and improving the health sector, education and agriculture.

He maintained that the ultra-modern cancer center would soon be completed assuring that president Mohammad Buhari would in-person commission the new facility.

The Governor advised the people of the state to shun politics of thuggery and violence, and appealed to them to embrace the democracy of tolerance and peace geared towards having a great Nation.
