Kebbi State Government has declared Monday 1st August, 2022 as public holiday, to celebrate the Islamic New Year.

In a statement by the state acting Head of Service, Alhaji Sufiyanu Garba Bena, and made available to newsmen said, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu gave approval for the public Holiday.

The statement, while wishing the Muslim Ummah happy and prosperous New Year, Gov Atiku Bagudu, called on Muslims and Nigerians to sustain prayers for peace, security, unity, progress as well bumper harvest for this years farming season.
