Zamfara Govt Organises Special Prayers Towards Ending Banditry

Zamfara State Commissioner for Religious Affairs , Dr Muhammad Tukur Sani Jangebe

Zamfara is among the states of the federation that has been engulfed by Political, economic and social instabilities that turned it back to square one.

The State Commissioner for Religious Afairs Dr Tukur Sani Jangebe disclosed this at a special prayer organised by the Ministry in order to overcome the issue of insecurity in the state and the country at large.

Dr jangebe said the calamities have become the stumbling blocks toward the development of the state and the country in general.

According to him, the state in which farming is its pride but now seems to become thing of the past, as well as commercial activities, is being paralysed and incapacitated adding that social activities were paralysed too.

He therefore called for frequent prayers for peace and stability to prevail in the state and the country at large from the Ulamas and other well-wishers of the state and the nation entirely.

The Commissioner further directed the Emirs, District Heads, and Religious and traditional leaders to organise special prayers to restore its lost glory.

He also called on parents to contribute their quota towards inculcating moral and religious values to their children to become useful members in the societies.

Jangebe also advised Muslims ummah to always adhere to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the traditions of the Prophet Peace Be Upon Him.
