PDP in Niger State Unveils it’s Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate

Niger State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party PDP says competency track record of experience humbleness and pedigree remain it’s guiding principe in selecting who became it’s Deputy Gubernatorial candidate for twenty twenty three general elections.

That is why the much talked about Muslim Muslim and Christian Christian ticket has never been an issue to the PDP in Niger state but people who can deliver quality and effective service to Nigerlites.

PDP Gubernotorial candidate Alh Isa Liman Kantigi said this while unveiling his running mate Mr Samuel Gomna and presentation of certificate of return to forty candidates of House of Assembly Representatives and Senate in Minna.

Alh Liman Kantigi said of the three candidates presented to him comprising of two Muslims and a Christian one of them is his friend and was therefore disqualified outrightly since according to him governance is a serious business and not friendship.

The second person a lawyer he said was disqualified because he will be useful to them later while Mr Samuel Gomna former Chairman of Tafa local government council of Niger state was chosen as his running because he is focus and courageous as well as level headed. 

Leader of PDP in Niger state Senator Zainab Kure stressed the need for them to work as a team for the success of PDP.

She however said it was lack of unity that cost the PDP in Ekiti state to be defeated by APC in the just concluded Governorship election.

In his acceptance speech PDP Deputy Gubernotorial candidate Mr Samuel Gomna said the PDP if elected will work relentlessly towards providing good governance and eliminate insurgency in Niger state and Nigeria.
