The Zamfara State Amirul Hajj and Speaker State House of Assembly Alhaji Nasiru Ma’azu Magarya says, arrangement have been concluded for the airlifting of its intending pilgrims.
Nasiru Magarya stated this in Gusau shortly after inspecting the commission’s headquaters and Hajj Camp at Samari.
Magarya said he was impressed with the arrangement made so far noting that, his committee had made proper arrangements for ensuring successful hajj operations this year.
The Speaker commended Zamfara State Hajj Commission for renovating some of the structures in the camp as well as sanitizing the entire camp premises for the smooth conduct of the exercise.
He charged the state intending pilgrims to co-operate with Amirul Hajj Committee and Zamfara State state Hajj Commission and become law abiding citizens for the success of this year’s hajj exercise.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the commission Alhaji Lawal Isah Abdullahi said the commission was making consultation with the National Hajj Commission NAHCON for additional hajj seats in addition of the one thousand three hundred and three already allocated for the state.
Alhaji Lawal Isah further explained that, the commission had secured decent accommodations very close to Haramaini mosques in Makka and Madina.
He added that, screening, sensitization workshops, medical treatment and other arrangements had been done for the pilgrims .
The Commission Chairman also called on the intending pilgrims to use this period to pray for peace, unity and stability of zamfara state and the country in general.
