KDSG Swears-In 6 New Appointees

Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Hadiza Balarabe has administered the oath of office to six new appointees that will serve in various positions in the state.

Dr Hadiza Balarabe while swearing in the newly appointees at government House Kaduna, congratulated all the appointees for their well-deserved appointments and also wished them successes in their various assignments.

She urged them to justify the confidence reposed on them for the development of the state.

Dr Hadiza Balarabe also challenge all women in government in the state not to let the government down, stressing that, their performances must continue to be above question.

“It is only then that we can keep the doors open for more women to come in not only in Kaduna state but in other states of Nigeria”

According to Dr Balarabe, many of the appointees who took the oath of office were already aware of the way the government works having held offices in the past.

The Deputy governor enjoined them to continue to contribute for the development of people of the state.

“Let me remind you that it is your previous performances that earned you this positions. Therefore, if you go to sleep on your oars, we will not let you capsize our boat. Our monitoring system that brought you up to this new positions is still in place”

The newly sworn in appointees are Umma Ahmed Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Aminu Abdullahi Shagali Special Adviser on Political Matters to the governor while Abubakar Abdullahi-Auditor-General.

Others are Mohammed Jalal Chairman, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Dr Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu Head of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board and Abdullahi Mohammed as the Administrator of Birnin Gwari Local Government area.
