The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, says the planned rehabilitation of Runways 18R and 36L at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos slated for this weekend will not affect inbound and outbound flights.

In a statement,  the Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs.Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, says contrary to false reports that the scheduled works will necessitate diversion of international flights to Ghana and Cotonou, flights operations for the affected days would operate on Runways 18L and 36R.

According to Hope-Ivbaze, repair works will hold between 6 am to 1 pm on the affected days.
