Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has won the APC primary election to contest for House of Representatives Dambatta/Makoda Federal Constituency

This is contained in a statement signed by director press and public affairs Kano state house of assembly, Malam Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in kano.

The statement explained that, Engineer Chidari clinched the ticket during the Primary election, held at Dambatta Local Government Secretariat under the supervision of the Party’s Representatives led by Alhaji Aminu Sani.

Announcing the results,the returning officer, Aminu Sani said, in Makoda Local Government area the Speaker scored fifty one votes, while fourth seven votes were casted by Dambatta local government delegates.

The statement added that, the Speaker got a total votes of Ninety eight votes out of hundred and five, and hereby declared winner of the primary elections of the House of Representatives in Dambatta/Makoda Federal Constituency.

In their separate remarks, the Council Chairmen of Dambatta and Makoda local government areas thanked the delegates for their maturity, tolerance and understanding.

In his acceptance Speech, the speaker commended delegates from both Dambatta and Makoda as well as the State Party Representatives for conducting a credible Primary election and all the Stakeholders of APC in the district.
