Foundation Offers Free Medical Outreach To 500 Patients In Kontagora

A Non Governmental Organisation the Sani Bello Foundation has offered complimentary and alternative treatment to five hundred patients in Kontagora local Governmental Council of Niger state.

This is part of its humanitarian services to communities and societies.

Director General Sani Bello Foundation Dr Zakari Ikani said this while addressing Newsmen during the exercise in Kontagora General Hospital.

Dr Zakari Ikani explained that the foundation decided to carry out the complimentary and alternative medical treatment due to general demands from people who did not get complete treatment from the conventional medical treatment.

According to him the foundation is partnering with Usman Chiroma Alternative and Chinese Herbal Treatment Hospital to offer these services to the people free of charge to ease their hardship.

Medical Director Usman Chiroma Alternative and Chinese Herbal Treatment Hospital Dr Usman Chiroma noted that complimentary and alternative medicine is long overdue to be integrated into the Nigeria medical system while other countries have integrated it as a field of medical healthcare.

One of the benefitiaries Mrs Ene Omale said she has been having waist pain and acute headache for over two years though had taken several treatment but none had worked and was relieved after undertaken the massage detoxification and alhijama cupping.

The treatment offered include acupuncture massage chiropractor eye therapy refleology osteopathic microcirculatron T_ surgery and acupuncture among others.
