An APC Chieftain in Zamfara State, Alhaji Aminu Sani Jaji has presented assorted clothing materials to APC executives for this year’s Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
The Party’s Publicity Secretary Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau made this know in a statement to newsmen in Gusau the state capital.
Earlier, a similar gesture was extended to orphans, the less privileged and the needy in the fourteen Local Government Areas of the state.
This is part of the former lawmaker’s traditional annual support and assistance to such a category of people to encourage and alleviate their sufferings and also make sacrifices for the growth and unity of the party.
The items donated included 87 gowns, 28 caftans, 327 wrappers and 109 Shada bundles were presented to the party officials at the State.
Receiving the gesture, the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani commended the chieftain for the gesture assuring that the items would get to the target beneficiaries from the state down to the ward levels.
Danfulani who was represented by the party Secretary, Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima said such would complement the effort of governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s led administration in meeting the yearning and aspirations of the people in the state.
He thanked Aminu Sani Jaji for maintaining close ties with the party especially the executive while being a good representative of the state at the national level.
