Easter: Pray For Peaceful Coexistence – Clergy Tells Christians

Written by Bunmi Abdulraheem

Christians and Muslims have been reminded that without peace there will be no atmosphere for them to perform their religious obligations.

Pastor Steven Nathaniel, a resident of Taraba State made the reminder in his message during this year’s Easter celebration while speaking with our correspondent in Jalingo.

Pastor Steven Nathaniel explained that the significance of Easter can not be overemphasized as Jesus Christ thought believers how to love themselves as well as live with one another.

He however, urged both Christians and Muslims to use the period of Easter and Ramadan to pray for peaceful coexistence of the nation.

Also in an interview with Radio Nigeria on the Easter celebration, the National President of APC for Good Governance, Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken believed that if people will follow the teaching of Jesus Christ, there will be no conflict of any kind, and stressed the need for people to love one another.

Amb. Musa Tsoken urged Nigerians to join hands in advocating for good governance, especially as the 2023 general draws nearer.
