As 2022 lent period comes to an end, a gubernatorial hopeful under the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC Dr Abdulmalik Mohammed Durunguwa has congratulated Christians for the spiritual rejuvenation that could salvage Kaduna state and indeed the country over the myriads of challenges bedevilling her.

Dr Abdulmalik Mohammed Durunguwa also prayed to God to answer the prayers offered during the period for the good of mankind.

In a statement in Kaduna, the Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission also urged Christians to rededicate themselves to serving God and humanity, use the lessons learned during the lent period for sober reflection, and stressed that Nigerians must unite in peace and for the good of the country.

He further charged Christians to continue to live in peace with one another.

Dr Abdulmalik Mohammed appealed to Christians and Muslims to eschew bitterness but also embrace peace and harmonious coexistence for socioeconomic and political prosperity in Kaduna state and the country at large.
